The Squirrel and the Fox Challenge #70 - Let's hear it for the Girls!

The Squirrel and the Fox: #70 - Let's hear it for the Girls!

This theme opens up lots of good ideas for various projects and we cannot wait to see what you come
up with for us this time. It could be for little girls, big girls, old ones and young ones and for all sorts
of reasons as well.

*****NOTE - THIS CHALLENGE WILL RUN FOR 4 WEEKS*****
Yes, for just this Challenge we will be running for 4 not 2 weeks

Our Sponsor for this challenge - Make it Crafty - with a prize of a $10 Gift certificate to their store.

MIC are also offering a Bonus Prize -
use a MIC image to go into a second draw to win a $10 Gift certificate to their store.

I used an image from MIC that can be found HERE

This speech bubble is from an SU set - stamps and dies - and I coloured it using my SU Markers so that I got the two colours onto the stamp.

The image is so great to colour - I used the Copics - and some gold Smooch on the bracelets and buckle.

Some SU black and Pumpkin Pie card. The image was printed off onto XPress Blending card and die cut with a Spellbinders Label (9, I think). I thought I was clever to remove her arm from the die before putting it through - a bit of fussy cutting!

This is for my lovely Granddaughter who is living away from home (in NZ) at the moment and we miss her a lot! She is a very Special Person and definitely a girl and boy, can she sing up a storm! Beautiful voice. She loves to wear orange as well!

I will enter this in the following Challenges:
Addicted to CAS: Off the edge - closes 23rd May - my edge is the edge of the frame
Crafting at the Weekend: Anything Goes - closes 26th May
Inkspirational: photo below - closes 23rd May - my inspiration is the stance and the orange and black colours

Yes, I could totally see how the raised arm reflected our challenge photo. I love the way you've made this personal for your grandaughter- that, I think, is the greatest joy of cardmaking. It's great how you brought her arm out from the frame, and I love the colour combo. Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational Challenges. Come back next time! Marina
