99 Not Out!

Happy Birthday to an old friend of ours (Cyril) for Monday just gone - he celebrated his entry into his 100th year by turning 99!  He lives at the Lodge with my MIL (who I think I have mentioned before turned 98 at Christmas just gone)!  They are good friends and he is very good to her, putting drops in her eyes and escorting her to the Dining Room daily. Anyway, she asked me to create a card for her and the other lovely young ladies at their table in the Dining Room, to give to said Cyril!  I ended up making three before I was satisfied I had got one she would like. The third one isn't here - I forgot to photograph it before it was sent!

Anyhooooo.....the top one uses a digital image from Mo's Pencil, and is fairly simple.  Coloured with Copics of course, fussy cut and then mounted on SU Whipser White square die cut frame while the DP is a page from Basic Grey's Hello Lucious paper pad - suitable really! A square doily and a computer generated sentiment , punched out and it was done!  It is on a black pearlised commercial card blank. We gave him this one! She won't be happy about the big bottom!

I will enter this in the following: - a digital stamp and use your favourite colour! My favourite colour is red!

The second one was a just-'n-case and uses one of STG's seniors stamps. Same sentiment, image coloured with copic and computer generated driving signs. The striped paper behind is from a 6 x 6 pad from Cosmo Cricker - de lovely; mounted on black card and on a white commercial blank. I used a lot of dimentionals to lift things up off the background and a die cut frame in SU Whisper White.

I am entering this in the following: - stamp it! - any creation!
