This card has been made for two challenges - before the flooding of Toowoomba, and I was then a bit shell-shocked and didn't do too much for a few days. However, it was for CPS 200, a sketch challenge and CR84FN10, a colour challenge - lavender, aqua, yellow and green.
I used a commercial DP for backing, and layered up some blue (stamped randomly with the heart), the strip of embossed yellow, after I sanded it to get the colour showing and the sentiment; and the image. All had had the edges sponged with ink and the image was coloured with Copics. I rounded the edges of the blue and white cards as well to soften the overall look.
Stamps: SU Love Owl-ways
Paper and Card: Blank white commercial card; Co'ordinations Whitewash (yellow), SU Bashful Blue scrap and Whisper Whiet scrap; Francheville Winter Wonderland Stripes
Ink: Momento Black; SU Marina Mist
Other: Cuttlebug and embossing folder; sanding paper; Annabelle Sprinkles; double sided tape and dimentionals; Copic pens
