Challenge #35: Gift Card Holder for Crafting with Dragonflies

Another challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies that involves the construction rather than just straight card making! Yippee! I really like these challenges.

We have been sponsored by

They have offered us (the DT) some more images to use and the prize is
7 digi's of the winners choice!

Again, Yippee! I REALLY like their images.
I decided to used one they gave us a few months ago on my Gift Card Holder

I smeared around some Momento ink to colour the background, and just printed off the image onto the XPress Blending card. A heat gun might be a good idea to set the ink before you go smearing - I had to print it twice!

I added it to a bellyband - the card I used here is SU Crushed Curry, and the ribbon from my stash is a piece of seam binding. I used Spellbinders dies to cut the circles and the trim on the white card.

The DP is also SU's newest stuff - ain't it pretty - Moonlight.

I took a piece of white card from Blue Edge Crafts, and cut it to the width of the diecut and then some to turn in. I then folded it at 10 cm and 20 cm and left about 6 cm before die cutting the edge. I added some folds using the score board on the side (about half a cm) each side, and stuck together with SU red tape. The sentiment comes from the SU Just Believe and is stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black ink. This created an envelope quite big enough for a gift card or some cash or even a cheque! There is room for a note as well!

Now its your turn! You have a fortnight to enter at

I will enter this in the following Challenges:
