Lighthouses and Seasides......

Over at Crafting with Dragonflies the team are asking you to use a sentiment as a main focus for the newest challenge. Earlier this week I went on an excursion to the seaside (for my Uni course) with a 4 x 4 Forest to Coast Adventure Tour on Bruny Island. This small island is just off the coast of Tasmania and is really two islands joined by a long 'neck' between or sandstrip. I made my contribution to the challenge team several day's before but knowing I was going to be seeing a lighthouse on the island, I chose to make this card.

However, like always I am late getting it in!!!!

This is using the SU High Tide stamp set and SU card and ink.
It is double stamped and triple stamped - using my Hinged Stamper to effect.

This sentiment was the one I chose from several good ones in the set.

I took over 300 photo's on the day - here are several I am quite please with

The lighthouse at the bottom of the island - built in 1836. It is no longer operational but is maintained as a tourist attraction.

This is Cloudy Bay on the Eastern side of the Island. The closest land to this is Africa s it is below the South American Peninsular. Two strangers also enjoyed the view.
