Winners Post from December up over at Unstampabelles

Hello - hope you week has been supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

We went to see a local production of Mary Poppins last week
It was superb.

It's lovely to know that we have the talent here to mount a show like that successfully - it has run with full house for its whole two weeks. Amazing voices.
It was at our lovely old theatre - Theatre Royal

Well - on with the purpose of the blog - the Challenge blog Unstampabelles has a new challenge for February.

#76: February : Anything Goes
as long as it does not involve stamps!

Twist - use something new you have
recently acquired in your stash!

Random Number prize

I was given some chocolates in a neat hand made box so once the choccies were eaten I pulled the box apart to see how I could make it. Basically it was a box without a lid, folded in on itself and tied up - I made two prototypes and managed to get both creased in the wrong way but they worked eventually. You just push the sides in and fold them.

I used SU products and my Hot Foil Machine for the sentiment
I filled it with toffees but I think hubby has been sneaking them out because it is only half full now!

You can see the base has a cross where it should just have a single diagonal line.
I will get better at making them.

Better go to bed now - the kitten is patiently (not) waiting for me to stop working on the computer and go to bed. He has just bought me one of his toys to entice me away.

I will leave you with this lovely photograph.
There have been some great summer storms  lately!

This is the awesome Iron Pot Lighthouse which is located on a teeny craggy little island on the Derwent Estuary. It was the first lighthouse built in Tassie and it's the second oldest to be built in Australia. There is no consensus as to why it was named Iron Pot though one theory suggests that it is because of whalers' pots that were left on the island from the 18th century while another theory reckons it is named after the funny looking pot like holes on the island.
