Challenge #81 at Unstampabelles: Fancy Frames and Borders

The twist is to be edgy!

We all have those gorgeous border dies floating in our stash or beautiful embossing folders with fancy frames or diecuts with fancy edges

Get them out and play!!!
I am going to have so much fun with this challenge

Remember, at Unstampabelles there are NO STAMPS to be used

For the first week I made a card but you can make anything really as long as you follow the theme and twist and it is a paper-based craft.

I saw several people on Pinterest had used a leaf die to create a border so I  tried it  - I only used  a single leaf die (from SU's new Stylish Stems set) and a sentiment die from Memory Box.

These two colours are two new ones also from Stampin' Up
These are returning to the collection - Mossy Meadow and Flirty Flamingo
I cut and glued these  two sheets together to create a duel mount and then die cut along the join line five times with my leaf die. I used the three complete leaves under the flowers later. I initially cut five leaves to insert into the left-over spaces and then cut another two from the same new Granny Apple Green card stock for the flowers . I also cut the sentiment from this.

I layered the mount onto a white card base.
I also used a white pen to create another border.

I added some Tara flowers and the aforementioned leaves.

The bottom photo was taken in the shade and it changed the whole colour scheme!
The first three are the better colours.

Here is another type of border for you

Remarkable caves located in the Tasman national park, explore the small cave system or head out the main cave to find a secluded hidden beach!

Always love the photos you include in your post! Lovely card. The leaf border looks great! And I really like the touch of the hand-drawn border. Best, CG
