Final Feb posting for Unstampabelles: Anything Goes

Hello Peeps - glad to see you all looking so bright eyed and wonderful. Hope you are also warm and dry and not dealing with too much snow at your end! We have had a beautiful week of summer weather, and the Camelot rain (comes at night) so not having to water!

Cat and kitten are playing nicely most of the time. Weasley still is not happy about the invasion but is dealing with it well until I tried to play with both of them with his fishing toy....boy was that a mistake. It got firmly taken from me and marched off to be 'hidden' from the kitten. Weasley then played with Bingo himself for an hour to 'distract' him! So cute! Bingo is growing like a weed - he is getting long and lean. Weasley is getting fatter on kitten food.

The challenge and the TWIST for this month

Challenge 108#: ANYTHING GOES

I made two things - I got so inspired by seeing people were busting their stash that I made a card using a packet of stuff left over from a kit I purchased some two years ago. You can see the inspiration card from the pack and some left-over stuff with the card in the first photo:

Taken out of the sunshine - the little wooden embroidery frame I was 'saving' for something - whatever - but realised I should just use it! i glued it to the saying and went from there.

Better idea of the colours in the sunshine

Then I went to tidy away stuff and got involved in tidying something else and found this! It is the front off a large envelope from Uniquely Creative - another piece of art on the top of the frame was carefull cut off and put back into stash! I experimented with some w/c pens and it worked on the craft card so off I went.

Once coloured up I glued it to some green card and created a tag. I added a rub-on from the stash - no idea whose this is - and some ribbon.

I glittered up the image with some clear glitter - it looks better under a light

Up close and personal - as the w/c dried it lightened up so I  kept adding darker colour - think I overdid it at one point.

A bit of fussy cutting and it was done.

My favorite thing in cardmaking is recycle and upcycle! I love your 2 cards :)
