Goodies Parcel arrives - Women Gets Crafty!

I got a parcel mid week and it was from one of my favorite places, My Favorite Thing!  I had ordered some things a while ago and forgotten exactly what I have ordered so it was a nice surprise. I didn't get a change to play properly until yesterday afternoon, so while I was unpacking them and re-acquainting myself with my self-indulgence, I ran this gerbera die through two pieces of different coloured scrap card to see exactly what they looked like when the flower was built. Now, I know they should be layered  but........

I chose to just use them singularly!

I like them so much that I made a birthday card with them - yes, that is a MFT stamp as well but I got that one a while ago! I stamped it in Versamark and sprinkled it with some Ebony EP and it is nice and sparkly.

You can see how much care I took to line everything up - not!

The background papers are old SU papers from an 8 x 8 pad. The vine leaves were already cut and laying on the desk just waiting to be used for something......I added some bling and used a blank card from Regal Craft. The strips of background paper that were cut off the sheet to make it fit the card were them glued across the top for a bit of a ribbon effect.I thought it just looked happy!

I will enter this in the following:
