More Frames and Borders for Unstampabelles

The challenge at Unstampabelles is to  use a (some)

Fancy Frame(s) or Border(s)

Twist - How edgy can you be?

Prize (random number draw)

You can also use both a frame and a border!

I decided to make a scrap page after I found some old photos this week.

I live on the edge of a river which is running into a sea on the bottom of the world. The river is in an island, which has borders or edges as a result of that sea. Across the river from me is a mountain - one of the few places in the world where a city has grown up at the foot of a mountain next to a river.

Because this island is in the Southern seas it experiences an occasional cold front that comes directly from Antartica. Today is cold, wet and windy and there is some snow on the top of the mountain but it is not as cold as it was in 1986, when we got an Antartic blast of mega proportions and it snowed to sea level and stayed there for a day.

I had seven photo's so used five on the front

(I have decided since taking these shots to put the two unused ones inside the notes page)

I used my Christmas edge dies and icicle dies to make and edgy edge!

I'm not that happy with it - I started off with something else in mind and ended with this.

Hope you can make something with a border and/or an edge

Sometimes we aren't happy of our works because we have other designs in mind...So we can't see the beauty of the work done. But this scrapbook layout looks great, it's very beautiful!

I agree with scrAPpamondo - it's a great layout. What a great use of Christmas die. Particularly cause it doesn't ususally snow in our part of the world at Christmas.

Gorgeous layout Susan, the pictures and design and so beautiful! You left me a comment about maybe using a stamp. I just wanted you to know my DP had gold fold accents in it (sentiment) so no stamps were used :) Enjoy your weekend.
